With over 12,000 active members, AAUW California is a dynamic organization with a long history of affecting change on the issues women care about: education, civil rights, equity in the workplace and on college campuses, reproductive rights, and gender discrimination.

Membership is open to people who hold an associate degree (AA, AS) or higher. To get involved with AAUW in California, find a branch using one of the methods below (Branches A to Z, Find a Local Branch) and follow the branch’s instructions. You can also join the California Online branch in addition to or instead of joining a local branch. Students working toward a qualifying degree may become student affiliates.
