I am currently retired. My paid career was spent primarily in Healthcare Information Technology and Product Development. I worked for nearly all major health system providers in the San Francisco Bay area including Kaiser, Catholic Healthcare West, and nationally at Optum/United Healthcare. I held increasingly responsible positions with accountability for multi-million dollar projects and product development opportunities with large and diverse project teams. Additionally, I was responsible for the organizational design for multi-site support organizations that were geographically dispersed.

I’m well versed in applying technology to the workplace to improve communications, reduce costs and improve member engagement. I have an ability to bring disparate groups of individuals together to successfully meet common goal.
Explain how you will incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion in your plans.

Give your reasons for running for this office.
We’re not done! Before completing my term as AAUW California State President, I began strengthening our use of technology and marketing to expand AAUW’s visibility and reach. After taking two years to recharge, I’m ready to return and continue that work with fresh energy and perspective. AAUW California has tremendous potential to leverage modern tools, streamline communication, and amplify our message. I’m eager to partner with state and National leadership to ensure our mission is widely seen, heard, and shared.
