Tech Trek started in 1999 at UC San Diego and is moving to the University of San Diego in 2025. Campers from all over Southern California and the desert areas along the Arizona-Nevada borders attend camp in San Diego.

Marsha Swails
Marsha Swails’ work in AAUW since 2016 has focused on STEM opportunities for girls from underserved communities through the Tech Trek program. Many of them will be the first in their families to attend college after graduation. Being part of residential and virtual staff has been incredibly rewarding.
