Tech Trek started in 1999 at UC San Diego and is moving to the University of San Diego in 2025. Campers from all over Southern California and the desert areas along the Arizona-Nevada borders attend camp in San Diego.

Natalie Wilberts
Natalie attended Tech Trek in 2017 and credits the program with shaping who she is today by teaching her resilience and the power of mentorship. She will graduate in 2026 with a BS in Political Science and then begin a master’s degree in International Affairs. Since attending camp, Natalie has remained actively involved with Tech Trek, volunteering as a social coach for virtual camp, serving as a dorm monitor, and co-directing the USD camp in 2025. This is her first year as Camp Director.
We use a tool called Waldo to share camp pictures. Campers selected to attend will receive a passcode via email.
