Dr. Ashley D. Farmer will discuss a recent collaborative project Where the Money Resides: Demystifying Academic Job Negotiations. This project started with a conversation between Dr. Ashanté Reese and Dr. Ashley Farmer: What do people ask for when negotiating jobs? Though the two of them had negotiated job offers in the past, they realized that aside from asking for more of what was offered to them, no one had really taught them how to negotiate or what the landscape of possibilities looked like.
