Join us in February for our Third Thursday Member Meeting! In addition to our usual social time, we are fortunate to have as our guest speaker one of our AAUW Fellowship recipients, K. X. Song. An accomplished author, she will touch on the creative process behind her stories, the nonlinear trajectory of her publishing journey in the US, and the importance of diversity and representation in storytelling and media at large. She will also discuss the state of the US publishing industry today, and some of the challenges particular to women of color in the industry.
