Dr. Badillo-Diaz will explore the current state and future of generative AI and its impact on education, health, and mental health. She will present us with a clear understanding of how generative AI works, examine current trends, and provide live demonstrations of AI tools that can enhance education and support health and mental health interventions. Her presentation will address benefits and concerns, including ethical considerations, equity, and responsible use.
Participants will leave with continued learning resources and a deeper understanding of how AI is shaping our world and future. Both AAUW and the UNA believe that education holds the key for women and girls throughout the world achieving equity. Our AAUW strategic plan speaks to this goal and “Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all” is Goal #4 of the Sustainable Development Goals.
