Climate Action in Contra Costa County

The Danville/Alamo/Walnut Creek branch of AAUW hosts an important March Program on Climate Change Action in Contra Costa County! As we look forward to Earth Day observances in April, we are pleased to have Lynda Deschambault, a newly elected member of the East Bay Regional Park District Board of Directors, as our March speaker. She will provide an overview of the key climate crisis challenges facing Contra Costa County, the most salient unmet needs in responding to them, an orientation to her work as a newly elected member of the Board of Directors of the East Bay Regional Park District, and actions we can take to help tackle climate change.
