AAUW Fund & Named Gift Honoree 2024

2024 State Named Gift Honoree

Jane Niemeier

San Diego and La Mesa-El Cajon Branches

San Diego Interbranch Council

Jane Niemeier was presented with the 2024 State Named Gift Award at the virtual Annual Event on April 27, 2024.

Jane is an active dual member of the San Diego and the La Mesa-El Cajon Branches serving in multiple roles with years of leadership including:

  • She serves as the San Diego IBC liaison.
  • She has served in most branch positions including President, Treasurer, and Program Chair.
  • She was the 2021-2023 State Nominating Committee chair.
  • She served as the 2014 AAUW California Convention Chair. 
  • She served six years on the AAUW California State Board as Co-President, Program Chair, and State Oversight Committee.
  • She has been appointed a director to the AAUW California Special Project Fund (SPF).
