Tech Trek Camp – Virtual

Although it had been discussed for several years as an alternative for interested girls who could not otherwise participate in an in-person camp, COVID-19 was the ultimate catalyst. The cloud-based camp served 40 girls in its pilot year (2020) and over 600 in its state-wide inaugural year (2021). With a similar hands-on STEM and social learning focus as the campus-based Tech Trek programs, it provides campers remote access to activities, new friends, virtual field trips, and role models to help foster STEM engagement and interest in STEM studies and careers without ever having to leave home!
