Candidates

Donna Holmes – Director
(Two-year term 2026 – 2028)
AAUW has so much to offer women and girls achieve better and more fulfilling lives and I want to spread the word. Often someone joins for one thing or their branch only focuses on a small area. I hope to shine a light on the whole organization, National, State & Branch.

Sandi Gabe – Director
(Two-year term 2026 – 2028)
Having served as AAUW California State President, I am eager to return to the organization and lead our communications efforts with renewed purpose and vision. My goal is to elevate AAUW’s visibility so we become the natural choice for those passionate about equity and opportunity. By strengthening our messaging, expanding reach, and improving access to information, we can attract mission-aligned members while inspiring current members to fully engage in the important work ahead.

Seena Trigas – Director
(One-year term 2026 – 2027)
I would like to work on expanding our membership, with a focus on younger women and diversity within our branches, along with retaining members. Another accomplishment would be in strengthening the programs that address the inequities that exist for women and minority groups, as well as educating and encouraging our members to be involved in the issues that threaten our policies.

Mary Isaac – Director
(Two-year term 2026 – 2028)
As the TT director, I am currently working with national to expand AAUW California’s Tech Trek initiatives to other states and branches, with regard to alum tracking and virtual camp. Before leaving the director role, I would hope to have helped at least 100% more branches meet their commitments for maintaining contact with their sponsored Tech Trek alums, which should also increase state/branch membership from parent(s) or alums themselves.
