Program of the Month: October

November 13, 2014
The Citrus Heights-American River branch is awarded the outstanding October "Program of the Month" by the AAUW CA program committee.  The public policy committee hosted this branch program featuring the McGeorge School of Law Students in regards to the propositions.
The students presented an objective view of what changes the propositions will make - the legal, financial and unintended consequences of passage and any constitutional issues arising from passage. After the presentation, the audience had an opportunity to ask questions. Congratulations to CHAR for this innovative approach.
