Our southern California branches will have the chance for a sneak peek at a couple of the workshops the Leadership Development team will be offering at Convention 2016: AAUWCA Empowering You! The Leadership Team will be presenting these in Whittier on Saturday, February 20th and in Laguna Woods on Sunday, February 21st.

What's New

AAUW San Francisco Offers Scholarships

January 22, 2016

 The San Francisco AAUW branch will offer scholarships of $2000 each to help upper division and graduate school women complete their final year of study in an accredited college or university for the school year 2016-2017.  The courses can be online if students are fulfilling their requirements through the colleges or universities.  Candidates must live or be attending a university or college within a 100 mile distance of San Francisco and be on track to complete their course of study by June, 2017.  There is no restriction on the use of the funds.  Completed applications are due by April 30, 2016.

Tech Trek Accepting 2016 Camp Reservations

October 15, 2015
Beginning today, October 2015, branches that wish to send girls to Tech Trek Camps in 2016 can submit their reservations now. Send your request, name of camp and number of campers, to Linda Stinebaugh, State Coordinator for Tech Trek, techtrek@aauw-ca.org. Donation checks should be payable to AAUW and sent to the camp treasurer for deposit.
