The Supreme Court
The Merced Branch presented Sandra M. Snyder, a retired U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of California, speaking about the book The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court by Jeffrey Toobin.
The book, published in 2008, gives a snapshot of the court over the years, giving us a glimpse into the lives and thinking of the justices of the recent past, some of the important cases that have come before the Court, and how the justices interact with one another and make their decisions.
Congratulations, Merced!
