Adrienne Johnson, Sustainability and Project Engineer with Point Energy Innovations, focuses on designing energy sustainable buildings. She will discuss her education and experience, including as project lead designing a Net Zero Energy school in South Africa as part of her Master’s program at Stanford for which she won the prestigious “Leadership Award” in 2017 by the U.S. Green Building Council. She was also selected as top “20 to Watch: Women in HVAC” by Engineering Systems Magazine.
This series is free and open to all high school girls (and boys too) who want to know how one gets from taking science, computer, and math classes to choosing a career in STEM and getting a job after college. This webinar series is presented by AAUW-OML with a grant from the Bettelheim Family Foundation.
