March 24, 2021, was the day we marked as Equal Pay Day (EPD) for all women, the day when women’s wages caught up with what men made in all of 2020. In normal times, branches would be out in their communities holding EPD events to educate everyone about the Gender Pay Gap (GPG). Even though those events were off the table this year due to Covid,-19 seven branches found a way to remind the public of the GPG by obtaining proclamations from their cities or counties. Congratulations to the Atascadero, Carlsbad-Oceanside-Vista, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Mission Viejo, Mid-Peninsula and Los Altos branches for their perseverance. You can find their Proclamations here.
