Give your reasons for running for this office.
I believe that AAUW California has a role within the broader AAUW organization to help branches be strong participants in the mission of AAUW. With only 1 paid employee, we are more frequently relying on technology to run the organization. Last year I started refreshing the website and Communication Team roles and responsibilities. I want to continue this work so that the next Communication Team Director has the structure and details to successfully do the job.

I believe that AAUW California can be a stronger partner with National, branch leaders and members in accomplishing that mission. As part of AAUW California will promote best practices, support growth in branch leadership and continue to expand our communication mechanisms.
