education in California. AAUW California was a founder of
EdSource in 1977, along with CA State PTA
and the LWV-CA. EdSource produces numerous
jargon-free documents
about K-12 public education in California every
year, many of which

Alliance for Public Schools (CAPS): dedicated to the following
premises: 1) Access to a free public education system has been, and
will continue to be, the bedrock of our society and 2) Only in our public
schools do children of all backgrounds have the opportunity to develop the
tools they need to succeed in the 21st Century. This coalition came
together to oppose Prop. 38 in 2000, and continues to work together to
support these premises. |
