Year two of AAUW CA's Speech Trek competition for 11th and 12th grade girls and boys has the theme "What's Behind the Pay Gap?" Following competitions at the branch, then district levels, three finalists from throughout the state will compete for first place at the AAUW CA convention, to be held April 4-6, 2008, at the Sonoma County Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park, CA. The first place winner will receive $500, while the second and third place winners will receive $300 each.
