We want to give AAUW CA branches credit for all the effort they expended this year to further the
AAUW mission and help their communities. Following the Strategic Plan principles and the 2007-08 convention theme "It's all about the Mission" as a guide, we are
looking for outcomes which reflect the new mission statement: AAUW promotes equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
The purpose of the AAUW CA Recognition Program is to recognize and reward publicly all branches
that have undertaken AAUW mission-related programs or activities. Branch programs which are eligible
for recognition must have occurred between March 2007 and February 2008.
E-mail the application, description and photos to Program Recognition Manager by March 3, 2008.
