AAUW California is your watchdog in Sacramento! For more than a century, AAUW has influenced
legislative debate on critical social issues. Do you care about education, Social Security, gender
discrimination, civil rights, reproductive rights, affirmative action, Title IX, welfare reform,
vocational education, pay equity, family and medical leave, or health care reform? We do!
Our public policy volunteers research bills that come before the California
legislature. When they find one that affects our issues, they take a stand, and you can help by
finding out which bills we support and then
contacting your representatives in Sacramento!
