Convention Connection Corner Was a Huge Success!

Posted At : April 15, 2012 3:18 PM

Thanks to all those convention attendees who visited the Connection Corner Exploratorium over the weekend and played our Connection Corner Passport game.

Also many thanks to all the branches who participated with their exciting and innovative displays - all very creative.  We hope everyone enjoyed the venue  and ambiance as much as we enjoyed creating it.

The winner of the Saturday night raffle is Shelly Johnson from the San Luis Obispo Branch. She won a one year AAUW National & State membership renewal worth $65.

In Connection Corner we honored several branches celebrating exciting branch anniversaries.  They are:
  • Alameda, 50 years
  • Atascadero, 75 years
  • Merced, 75 years
  • Nevada County, 75 years
  • Oakdale-Riverbank-Escalon, 50 years
  • Sunnyvale-Cupertino, 50 years
  • San Jose, 103 years
  • San Gorgonio, 103 years
  • San Francisco, 126

Thanks to all for making the 91st Convention so much fun!
