Proposed AAUW Bylaws

Posted At : February 3, 2009 5:10 AM

The final version of the proposed AAUW Bylaws is available on the AAUW website. Many member suggestions from the earlier feedback process are incorporated, and 32 questions from that process are answered in a Q&A.
To read the Proposed Bylaws and Q&A go to AAUW website and click on
MEMBER CENTER in the horizontal menu near the top. The login page will open.
Enter your AAUW member number, then click the Log In button. The "landing page" will open.
Access the Proposed Bylaws from a link under Leadership and Governance in the middle of the "landing page".

I strongly urge everyone to start by reading the Proposed Bylaws Revision INTRODUCTION. It gives the background and context for reading the bylaws revisions themselves.

Please bring your questions about these national bylaws revisions to the AAUW-CA convention in San Diego in April. There will be a bylaws briefing that will delve into them in depth.
