We invite you to join AAUW! We have over 155 branches in communities throughout California, as well as an online branch.


AAUW's Mission

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.

In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.


AAUW California's Vision
In addition to the above, AAUW California has adopted the following as its vision:

AAUW California shall be the inclusive organization of choice for college graduates, recognized for securing equal rights and opportunities for women and girls.
