California AAUW has 155 branches offering fantastic opportunities for local advocacy, networking, and support. Branches are run independently with guidance from the state and national organization, and they set their own priorities within those guidelines.
As a result, even two branches in the same geographic area may "feel" quite different. We advise attending a meeting of at least two different branches near you, if possible, before deciding which to join.
If you're looking for a particular branch, our alphabetical list of branches will most likely be helpful. On the other hand, if you're looking for branches near you, often seeing branches grouped by district is more useful.
The listings include links to local branch websites, if available. To get contact information for a branch that has no website, or for one whose website is out of date, contact our office or the Membership VP.
